We report three patients with malignant pseudoachalasia and findings on HREM that do not cleanly fit into the Chicago v3.0 classification. WebWhen compared to CM, Roman et al found that HREM had a higher diagnostic yield for achalasia. [8] Patients who underwent HREM had more diagnoses reported, meaning that esophageal motility problems could be detected earlier with HREM than with CM.
