Love Comes Naturally

A Valentine's Message From The Creative Director A Story Of Gay Penguins.    Of all the hilarious episodes of Will and Grace, there is one that always stood out for me - it featured two penguins in the Central Park Zoo who made the headlines. The pair built a tastefully decorated nest together and formed a monogamous and affectionate bond. When the zoo determined that they were both male, they decided to break up and pair them off with females. A public outcry ensued. Will and Jack decide to visit the penguins and are approached by a lesbian who asks them to sign a petition to keep Roy and Silo together. Through a couple of plot twists and turns, Jack...

Men's Fashion Trends by Hello Sailor TMH

Men's Fashion Trends Gay style tips for your next gay cruise and keeping your wardrobe in ship shape after 40 from Hello Sailor TMH!  As a man in my mid 50's, what I wear today is quite different than what I wore in my 30's and 40's. Back in the day, I was a fashionista as it was important to me at that time. I am an interior designer, and I had the desire to make a statement as a gay man and artist. The story of how Hello Sailor TMH, a gay men’s clothing and nautical decor line, evolved continues….. The Jack-Pot movie, airing on a country station, based in San Angelo, came on TV every weekday at 1:00.  This is how I spent my summer days as a child, while land locked in hot, desolate Texas. I could escape into a fantasy world of vintage movies, while wasting away on the sofa, in our air-conditioned living room. Each week would feature a theme – Bette Davis Week – Joan Crawford Week – Audrey Hepburn Week, etc. I dreamed of one day growing up and being just like Holly Golightly, in Breakfast at Tiffany’s: a glamorous, depressed, champagne guzzling, fashionista whore who was...

Anchors Away!

In case you are wondering how we stumbled upon the idea to create a gay clothing line and nautical themed goods store and call it Hello Sailor TMH..... My husband Danny and I met in Maine thirteen years ago, and have been traveling back to that beautiful state since. We met one summer while vacationing at Camp Camp, an LGBTQ summer camp for adults ( check them out at www.campcamp.com). I can't promise you will meet your spouse, but you will have fun! We never imagined the journey upon which we were about to embark, but sometimes life has a way of taking you where you need to be. We needed to be together so we did what we...
